Happy 4th of July!!

Here's wishing everyone a very Happy 4th of July!

My plan is to golf with Kelly and Vic on Saturday and then Monday Kelly is going to have a BBQ at his place and we will watch fireworks. I'm really looking forward to Monday as Derek and Katie are planning on coming to the BBQ. We haven't seen them much, so it should be fun. I noticed my camera has a fireworks mode. I promise not to bore you with firework photos, but if I get some decent pics at the BBQ I will be sure and post a few. Oh, who am I kidding, I'll probably bore you with a firework pic or two as well.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Cabo Wabo

Cabo Wabo
(OU812)

I've been to Rome, Dallas, Texas
Man, I thought I'd seen it all, oh
Around the world, searchin' every corner
Man, I thought I'd hit the wall, ah!
There's a sleepy town lies South of the border
You go there once, you'll be there twice
Lots of pretty girls comin' by the dozen, woo!
The white sand sure make a tan look nice (Oooh) We crash on the beach
(Oooh) You know I wanna
(Oooh) Make love in the sea
(Oooh) We gotta try a little dance
(Oooh) So, Cabo Wabo
(Oooh) It's all right by me
(Oooh)
Come on, let me take you down I will show you all around
(Down in Cabo)
Let me take you down Face down in Cabo, kissin' the ground

Ever since this song came out in 1988 I've been somewhat intrigued with the idea of visiting Cabo San Lucas, hanging out on the beach, listening to great bands at Sammy Hagars Cabo Wabo cantina, drinking Waboritas and just getting away from "real life". Another one that gets my blood pumping is...

Sammy Hagar & The Waboritas
Mas Tequila
(Red Voodoo)

I'm goin way down south where the big blue agave grow,
Takin' a weekend trip down to Baja, Mexico!
Where you can drink the water, but don't ya eat the ice,
Take your vitamin "T" with salt 'n lemon slice...
I say, One shot...Hey! Mas Tequila-
Two shots...Hey! que veneno-
Three shots...Arriba!
Mas Tequila!
Hey! Hey!

Happy Anniversary! Flights and Hotels are booked!
Tina and I will be escaping from the real world from July 21 - July 28 to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. I wish we could take everyone with us, (not really, honey!) but pictures will have to do.

I SURVIVED!

Grouse Mountain

Well I survived "The Grind" at Grouse Mountain and have the T-shirt to prove it. It was actually a lot more fun than I expected and would definately do it again. As promised, I took a few pictures which you can look at here.

Congraduations!

IM_A0036

It feels like only yesterday that I could hold you two in my arms at the same time without completely losing feeling in my legs and not have to worry about being pick pocketed....robert...ahem.
Now you are all grown up and will soon be out on your own. It doesn't seem real.
Then again, it doesn't seem real that I used to have that much hair on my head either.
We are so proud of you! Shoot for the moon and always remember that even though you have hair, I still love you.

Missing American Hikers Body Found On Grouse Mountain

Well, This doesn't make me feel any better but at least I'll be in a group.

The Grind

I will be traveling back to Vancouver, BC on June 14th for a seminar. While we are there the guys want to go to Grouse Mountain and hike "The Grind" which is a 1.8-mile climb, with an elevation gain of 2,760 feet. I am clearly in no shape to do this, but refuse to be ridiculed and taunted. This may be my last post and I will miss all of you deeply. If by miracle I make it, I will post a few pictures. I can already feel all the beer caps and copenhagen lids over the years surfacing. Hack! Hack! Wish me luck!
